Guess Hu's Coming To Lunch

Getting ready for the visit of the head of state of a major world power is a lot of work. H I has managed to get a partial transcript of a coaching session conducted by Secretary of State Rice for President Bush in preparation for the visit to Washington of President Hu Jintao of China.

Rice: Ok, Mr President, let's go over it again. Hu is the President of China.

W: I dunno. Who?

Rice: Right, sir.

W: Condy, just tell me who is the President of China?

Rice: Yes sir, he is.

W: Condoleeza, cut that out! What is the name of the President of China?

Rice: No sir, Watt is the Congressman from North Carolina.

W: Secretary Rice, how would you like to go hunting with the Vice President?

Rice: Ok sir, let's move on. Now sir, how do you say hello in Chinese?

W: How?

Rice: No sir, that's how you say hello in Native American.

W: What?

Rice: No sir, he is an African American

W: Who is an African American?

Rice: No sir, he's the President of China. Why don't I do the introductions.

W: Good idea, Condi. Let's move on. Any important calls?

Rice: Yes sir. President Chirac would like a few words.

W: Turkey!

Rice: No sir, France.

I rarely laugh at Bush jokes, (I am after all, a Republican), but this was hilarious.
